We have the honour to announce the final selection of Cinemaissí 2009. But first we would like to thank all the film makers, producers and International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) for responding to the call for this year' s festival.

The films offer a wide and diverse perspective about this year' s theme: People in Movement. The final selection focuses on multiple meanings of migration, identity and democracy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
