As a homage to the 50th anniversary of ICAIC, the programme will be inaugurated by a retrospective of the oeuvre of our guest of honour, Fernando Pérez Valdés, who will also preside the seminars. There will be, moreover, an exhibition of the ICAIC poster department and the projection in Cinemaissito of a series of Cuban animation films and the festivities will continue in November with a selection of classics of Cuban cinema shown in the National Audiovisual Archive (KAVA) . Theses features have been brought to you by Cinemaissi in cooperation with KAVA and with the invaluable assistance of the ICAIC International Department and the Embassy of Cuba in Finland. They are, at the same time, part of the Cuban Culture Week celebrated throughout the country.
